Updates or A Pause in Renovations

We've been renovating the homestead: carpet ripped up, walls primed and painted, and new hardwood floors installed. It's cut into my posting time.

First up, is my book review at Patti Abbott's blog. She runs a feature on Fridays called "Forgotten Books." She asked me to write one and I contributed this review of Joel Townsley Rogers' The Red Right Hand.

As time permits, I've been working on some longer stories: two more crime tales and another Sci-Fi/Noir mash-up set on Mars. With my Phoenix connection, Keith Rawson, I just finished up my first collaboration.

Soon, I should be able to post an update on the last story I sent to Christopher Pimental at Bad Things. It's a Lucha Libre noir.
